Special Session I: Advanced Image Processing

Tomio Goto received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan, in 1997, 1999, and 2007, respectively. He was an assistant professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan. He is currently an associate professor with the Department of Computer Science, Nagoya Institute of Technology. He was a visiting fellow at University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in 2010, and a visiting professor at University of Wollongong (UOW) from 2018 to 2019. His research interests include coding of images, non-linear filtering, noise reduction, and super-resolution, as well as most other applications of digital image processing. He is a senior member of the IEEE.
